Earn Your Master’s in Higher Education Administration
Combine principles of management with consideration of higher education in the framework of the nonprofit sector by earning a Master of Higher Education Aadministration (MHEA) degree. This program is designed for individuals who desire to be leaders and managers in the field—administrators, faculty, policy makers, and anyone who wants to help their colleges and universities succeed in our changing marketplace. You’ll develop the skills you need to manage teams, understand the higher-ed customer, and lead your organization through legal and ethical considerations.

Dr. Wesley Lindahl
Dr. Lindahl’s expertise is in the area of nonprofit fundraising, drawing on his 18 years as a development director at a large university, as well as continued scholarship and conference presentations to bring rich experience and current trends to his classrooms.
Study In-Person and Online
Some courses in the MHEA program must be taken online, and the degree can be completed 100% online. You may also take some classes in a more traditional face-to-face format. Both options incorporate active discussions and hands-on learning projects.

Certificate Options
Graduate-level certificates allow you to add value to your degree in a specific area, from management to finance to marketing and more. You may complete one of 16 business or nonprofit certificates through your elective courses without adding time or cost to your degree program.

We are proud to partner with our alumni as they maintain relevant skills for whatever career they pursue. After completing a master’s degree from the School of Business and Nonprofit Management, you can return to take any business and nonprofit courses—even complete another degree or a certificate—at a 50% tuition discount.
Course Waivers
Many business and nonprofit professionals have already earned a degree in their field, and North Park recognizes the value of this previous education. If you completed similar undergraduate or graduate courses from an accredited institution within the previous 10 years, you may qualify to waive up to five courses in your degree program.
